Finalistas de los premios CMAA
Australia se prepara para su mayor fiesta musical
Y la cita está presidida por los 39º premios que concede la Asociación Australiana de Música Country (CMAA) el penúltimo día de la semana, el 22 de enero (recordemos que en el país austral es verano)
Los principales nominados en este año son, en primer lugar, Kasey Chambers (la hija de Bill Chambers) con un trabajo "Little Bird" a medio camino entre el americana, el pop, y el country, que acapara las más importantes nominaciones: Álbum del Año, Artista Femenina del Año, Single del Año, Canción Patrimonial del Año, Video Clip del Año ('Little Bird'), Colaboración Vocal de Año con Kevin Bennett y Canción APRA del Año APRA.
Lee Kernaghan recibió 6 nominaciones por su álbum "Planet Country", Álbum del Año, Canción, Artista Masculino del Año, Canción Patrimonial del Año, Single del Año, Canción APRA del año y Vídeo Clip del Año ('Australian Boy').
Las simpáticas y atractivas hermanas McClymonts, cada vez más poperas, están nominadas para Álbum del Año con "Wrapped Up Good", Single del Año, Video Clip del Año ('Wrapped Up Good') y colaboración vocal del Año con el omnipresente Adam Harvey.
Otros notables multifinalistas incluyen a Graeme Connors, McAlister Kemp y el ganador del 2010 Toyota Starmaker Luke Austen con 4 nominaciones cada uno. Dianna Corcoran, Artista Femenina del 2008, ha recibido otras 3 nominaciones.
